Last night, I popped some popcorn, made 3 French martinis (yes, I like girly drinks), and sat in my Lazyboy to watch the Miami Heat play against my number 1 team, the Los Angeles Lakers. I had no idea the sweetness of the treat that awaited me. Everyone bought their A game and produced crossovers, dunks, steals and technical fouls one would only expect to see in a playoff game. (Why do players save their A game for the post season?) The ending of the game was spectacular, after Kobe’s shot went in, I had to wipe my eyes and ask myself, “Did I drink too many martinis, or did that shot really go in?”. Both.
