Tired of all those year-end columns rehashing the greatest moments of the past year? Well, before the columnists beat our fond memories to death, here’s a brand new horse for them to quibble over.

Here, courtesy of my crystall ball, are some of the future highlights from 2010’s year in sports.

Colts win the Super Bowl.
Peyton and crew overcome the myriad of coaching and personnel changes to beat the improbable Green Bay Packers.

The National League finally wins an All-Star Game.
I’m going to keep picking them until they win.

Tiger Woods’ triumphant return to golf.
After choking in his first two competitions, the one-time prince of golf regains his throne with an unprecedented winning streak.

Brett Favre plays yet another year in the NFL.
After a first round loss in the playoffs, Brett returns once more to his ageless crusade.

The Boston Celtics win the NBA title.
I don’t think I’m going out on too much of a limb with this one.

The Angels win the World Series.
Couldn’t tell you why on this one. I just have one of those feelings!

The Mets tank, and Omar Minaya sinks.
He’s had far to big of a budget for far too long with only minimal results.

Pacquiao vs. Mayweather

The fight everyone wants finally, finally happens. Don’t look for this until late in the year, however.

Duane “The Rock” Johnson returns to wrestling.

The Rock sends shockwaves through the wrestling world by winning the Royal Rumble and challenging for the title at Wrestlemania.
