Worst NBA Slam Dunk contest of all-time
Posted on 17 February 2010 by Wanna Be Sports Guy
The 2010 NBA Slam Dunk Contest is the worst dunk contest of all-time, and I’m not saying that because Shannon Brown didn’t win. I’ll get to him in just a sec. This was the worst slam dunk contest I’ve ever seen because none of the dunkers did anything spectacular. The only basketball player worthy of receiving props is Nate Robinson. Nate Robinson is the first NBA player to win the Slam dunk contest 3 times.
As I watched the so-called Slam Dunk contest, I noticed the judges (NBA legends), looked very displeased. The dunker who disappointed me the most is Shannon Brown. As a Los Angeles native, I get to see a lot of Lakers games, and I’ll tell you, even though he has hops, Brown has never been slam dunk contest material. Shannon Brown is a LA favorite and can get up very high, but his dunks are never creative. Brown was the favorite to win, I don’t know why, but he was. I’m so disappointed, that I’m tempted to make a new website called, NeverLetShannonBrownDunkAgain.com.
