Golf Happy Meals: Dinner of Champions

On the Tuesday before the Masters, previous champions get together for the Champions Dinner. The Champions Dinner was first suggested by Ben Hogan. He hosted the first dinner in 1952. The previous year’s winner gets to pick the menu and is responsible for paying the bill.

- 1986 Bernard Langer – Weiner Schnitzel
- 1989 Sandy Lyle – haggis, mashed potatoes, turnips
- 1993 Fred Couples – chicken cacciatore
- 1994 Bernard Langer – turkey, dressing, black forest torte
- 1995 Jose Maria Olazabal – paella and whitefish
- 1996 Ben Crenshaw – Texas-style barbecue
- 1997 Nick Faldo – fish and chips
- 1998 Tiger Woods – cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, French fries, milkshakes
- 1999 Mark O’Meara – chicken fajitas, steak fajitas, sushi, tuna sashimi
- 2004 Mike Weir – Elk, wild boar, char, Canadian beer
- 2005 Phil Mickelson – lobster ravioli in tomato cream sauce, Caesar salad, Garlic bread
